If you have a boosted DE, then you should be taking advantage of the fact your engine is the ONLY VQ with a plug and play standalone option!

HR and VHR owners dream of having standalone ECU's. While 370Z's on EcuTek are quite amazing with the custom map features, there are still some limits with the stock ECU. With a Link standalone ECU, you open up so many doors for the DE platform! Not just simple ethanol content input, but true 93oct to E85 map blending for AFR targets, Boost limits, ignition timing, and speed density fueling. With a creative tune, you can even utilize the factory cruise control switches for things like rolling anti lag or boost level switching. On board data logging with tuner specified activation conditions can be great for diagnosing as well. Some more things that tuners love to utilize is ECU based boost control, staged fuel pump control, ignition timing modifier tables for nitrous, dual wideband AFR sensors, full time closed loop fuel control, ability to add a CAN keypad, and even ability to add a digital dash display. The beautiful ECU tuning based architecture and cool features surrounding modern standalone ECU's is available for those that are ready to their VQ35DE to the next level!

Requirements:

Remote tuning requires a laptop to interface with the ecu. User's must also be mechanically and electrically inclined to install and effectively communicate with the tuner for engine details and wiring information. Not everyone will use the same pin locations or the same sensors, so every tune will be custom built according to the setup and owners goals!
