On stock turbos, we've found less boost and proper ignition timing creates more torque throughout the entire power band in a much safer manner. We tune stock turbo VR30's to 18psi maximum and let them naturally taper down to 13psi at redline as the turbos run out of efficiency. \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eWhile blow off valves are not typically recommended, we have tuning solutions to help with rev-hang on manual swapped vehicles\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e. On the Q50 and Q60, they can create some shifting and fuel tuning issues without solving the \"over boost\" problem during shifts. Pre-throttle boost spikes are still present with BOV's.
